It's a fork of Judaism mixed with Buddhism
Jesus went missing from age 12 to 30 (the lost years)
A new theory is he literally became a hippie and went to India to study Buddhism
Then he forked Judaism and added Buddhist elements (compassion, share, forgive, no ego) and came back to Jerusalem to start his own cult and that became Christianity
Catholicism is just the hierarchical church version of his cult
