US flag stripes come from Indonesia's Majapahit empire
Did you know 🇺🇸 America’s red/white stripes come from 🇮🇩 Indonesia?
The 16th century 🇮🇩 Indonesian empire of Majapahit had a flag of 9 vertical red white stripes
The East India Company took it and embedded the 🇬🇧 UK flag in top left
which then became 🇺🇸 America’s flag
