fly.pieter.com, my first vibecoded flight simulator which reached $1M ARR in 17 days

fly.pieter.com is my first vibe coded game, a flight simulator. I wanted to create a flight sim I could quickly open up and play, because when I play Microsoft Flight Simulator these days it takes ages to load, then download and install updates before you're even flying. It was also a good experiment to see if AI could make a game (especially back in 2025).
fly.pieter.com was one of the first vibe coded games, and the first one to go massively viral. Someone messaged me saying he counted that the whole fly.pieter.com saga got over 100M views on 𝕏. Lots of people saw it and it was really fun to experience.
I started building it on 22 February 2025, mostly live on 𝕏, and it reached $1M ARR in just 17 days. Here's the whole build documented in tweets, oldest first:
